While exploring the Melbourne neighbourhood of Collingwood by bike, I was surprised to look up and see a train geek’s fantasy- three trains on top of a building!
‘End to End’ is a five storey office building at 48 Easey Street, Collingwood. During construction, three vintage Hitachi train carriages were lifted atop the building to their permanent home. The train cars now are now host to the restaurant Easey’s with the tagline, “Delicious food and cocktails, in a train 5 stories above Collingwood!” How awesome is that!
