One of the highlights of Singapore’s Marina Bay skyline is the Helix Bridge, colloquially known as the DNA bridge due to the double helix structure. The pedestrian bridge was designed by Cox Architects and engineers Arup.
The bridge connects Moshe Safdie’s Marina Bay Sands & ArtScience Museum to a pedestrian loop around the bay at the heart of the city.
The lattice-like structure is visually lightweight and elegantly detailed in polished stainless steel, which shimmers under the tropical sun.
A series of cantilevered platforms along the bridge provide spectacular views of the city skyline.
