Centennial Tower was originally designed in 1997 by Pritzker Prize winner Kevin Roche, and was clad in granite in a postmodernist style.
The aging tower was reclad in 2015 by another Pritzker Prize winner, Thom Mayne of Morphosis. The parametrically designed facade features an interesting sun shading pattern that changes as it goes up the building.
