Located along a series of forested hills along the southern coast of Singapore is the Southern Ridges park. Covered with lush tropical greenery, the park is also a design destination with architecturally significant structures and panoramic views of the Singapore skyline.
One of the highlights is the Henderson Waves bridge, designed by RSP Architects with British architects IJP. The wave form bridge seamlessly connects the top of the adjacent hilltop parks.

Heading west from the Henderson Waves, the park experience continues with an angular elevated canopy walk by LOOK Architects, with amazing views from within the canopy of tropical trees.
At the end of the canopy walk is another iconic road-crossing bridge, the Alexandra Arch (also by LOOK Architects).

At the end of the park is Hort Park, an award winning building by architecture firm MKPL. The open tropical structure is surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens and hosts a monthly Bazaar which is one of my favourite places to buy unique plants in Singapore.
