Located in the central park of an artificial island off the coast of Fukuoka Japan is a stunning building by renowned architect Toyo Ito. The organic, amorphous building seamlessly blends building with landscape.

A series of flowing organic concrete shapes form a series of domes, covered with a natural green roof that blends seamlessly with the adjacent park.

Each of the domes is a botanical greenhouse with tropical greenery.

The coolest part is the landform rooftop, accessible via a series of paths, bridges and lawns. It’s a fantastic place to explore!

Next to the main building is this super cute, slug-like building for landscape maintenance equipment and a small nursery.
