Toyo Ito has completed yet another building at Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University. His latest structure is a sports hall for the university campus, which is known as ‘The Wave’.
Most interestingly, the building is structurally supported by glulam timber, one of the first applications of this sustainable construction technique in Asia.
This new building joins a number of buildings in Singapore by Pritzker Prize winning architect Toyo Ito including VivoCity, CapitaGreen tower, Belle Vue Residences, Pioneer & Crescent Halls at NTU, and the The Crest condominium.
