The Garden of Fine Arts by Tadao Ando is an understated yet undeniably spectacular urban park in Kyoto, Japan. The durable full-scale ceramic copies of famous artwork from around the world provide unique new outdoor contexts to these precious works, but also ensures their survival (as these copies will long outlast the originals).
Comprised of a simple material palette of concrete and glass, carefully composed pathways and framed vistas make a stroll through this structure a phenomenal experience fusing artwork and architecture. Part tranquil modern garden and part artwork archive, this urban oasis is one of the most spectacular architectural sites I’ve ever visited!

Tadao Ando, Garden of Fine Arts
One of his greatest works I have seen. A labyrinth, a journey, a discovery.
