This design of this conceptual museum gallery challenges the internalization of the typical museum with a selectively filtered public hierarchy.
The museum is comprised entirely of transparent glass. Two separate layers of inversely polarised glass create varied layers of transparency between the museum and the city.
Pedestrians passing by are able to see museum visitors observing art, but not the works themselves. This clearly visible activity will enhance vibrancy of the streetscape, while also enticing the public to enter the museum. From the innermost gallery, the street is no longer visible- enhancing the apex of the museum experience.

Ah is the Kind of inspired by the Glass Museum by SANAA?
My main inspiration was the unexplored material potential of polarised glass to create varied layers of interaction between public (city street life) and private (a museum gallery, something that's typically strictly isolated from the vibrancy of city life). Of course SANAA's glass pavilion in Toledo definitely came to mind in terms of architectural language, but I wanted to create something more dynamic than a transparent building.
