This public school in Chicago is divided into two parts: a public landscape connector, and a raised private classroom block.
LANDSCAPE CONNECTOR The classroom building is raised above ground to allow daylight, views, ventilation, and security. The individual classrooms are pulled apart to frame directional vistas, and let light into the central courtyard.
