The Lasalle College of the Arts Campus (by RSP Architects Singapore) is comprised of six buildings which form a black monolithic blocky solid from the outside, but are fragmented on the inside to create dynamic circulation space between the classroom blocks.
In addition, the black stone skin of the building is pulled away from the classroom blocks creating a five foot way for pedestrian traffic, space for vertical circulation, and protection from the heat of the sun.
